Your Privacy

FedRetire does not require an account. Retirement Profile and leave information are stored on your device.

Government connects to the public sources you select to retrieve headlines, short summaries, publication dates, and article links. These requests do not include information from your Retirement Profile or My Leave. Source websites may receive standard connection information, such as your IP address. FedRetire stores your source choices, cached items, saved items, and read or removed item status on your device. When you open an item, your browser connects to the source website under its own privacy practices. Delete Profile removes retirement and leave information but does not erase this separate news data; deleting the app removes its locally stored news data. The app does not upload or email a backup automatically; you decide what to do with any backup you create.

FedRetire is an independent educational planning tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OPM or any federal agency. Estimates are not official eligibility or benefit determinations. Confirm your information and retirement decisions with your agency benefits office and OPM.

FedRetire Privacy Policy | ReguGuard

Effective Date: October 4, 2026

FedRetire uses the information you enter in your Retirement Profile and My Leave to calculate educational planning dates, service milestones, remaining workdays, and leave estimates. This may include your birth date, federal service dates, work schedule, planned retirement date, annual and sick leave balances, and leave entries. The app stores this information on your device. No FedRetire account is required.

Backup and Restore lets you create a backup containing your retirement information. FedRetire does not upload or email a backup automatically. You control whether to copy, save, or share it, and where to store any copies. Delete backup copies separately from the app if you no longer want them.

If you enable notifications, FedRetire uses information stored on your device to provide the notification options you select. You can change notification settings in the app or your device settings.

If you contact ReguGuard for FedRetire support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message. Please avoid sending your full Retirement Profile or backup unless it is needed to resolve your request. We use support messages to respond to you and resolve app issues. We keep them for up to 12 months after your request is resolved, unless a longer period is required by law.

Use Delete Profile in the app's Settings to remove retirement information stored by FedRetire on that device. This does not remove any backup copies you chose to save elsewhere or messages you sent to support. To ask about a support message, contact Partner@ReguGuad.com.

If FedRetire's data practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised. Questions about this policy can be sent to Partner@ReguGuard.com.
